I will be, from 13/10 – 16/11/23 raising monies over the Remembrance period, through my TRWs for the RNRMC (The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity). This is what I did before Covid hit, supporting a military charity (previous ones have been RBL, RAF Association, ABF).
This does not include the 2 Walkabouts on 30/10/23 (For Home-Start reading & 11/11/23 (For TFUK).
RNRMC ensure that our Royal Navy, Royal Marines, and Royal Fleet Auxiliary personnel and their families are valued and supported, for life.
Beneficiaries lie at the heart of the RNRMC’s purpose; it is our duty to remain focused on their needs. Since 2007, RNRMC has funded projects and facilities that boost morale for those who serve today. They also distribute millions of pounds annually to military charities which care for the children, families and veterans of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines.
£10 could pay for an art therapy session to aid the recovery of someone from injury.
£30 could pay for a bereavement support session for a service child who has lost their parent.
£50 could pay for a reunion for an elderly veteran living at a military care home.
£10 can help towards support for bereaved military children.
£25 can help towards tackling veterans’ homelessness.
£50 can help towards serving personnel family events and projects.
RNRMC VISION – A world in which our sailors, marines, and their families are valued and supported, for life.
RNRMC MISSION – To raise funds, working with others, to provide the support needed to our serving and former members of the Naval Service and their families.
Thank you in advance to any Walker who comes on my TRWs over this commemorative period – LEST WE FORGET!
