NEW – A Celebration of University RAG (Raising & Gathering) Parade routes – Walkabouts

Join us for a nostalgic walk as we retrace the 1984 RAG Float Parade route – a vibrant celebration of creativity, community and charity. ‘Raising and Giving’ (RAG) has long been at the heart of Reading Students’ Union’s fundraising spirit. On this walk, we’ll pause at key points along the parade route to revisit the energy excitement of past RAG parades through photographs, stories and memories from the era. Plus I promise to give you loads of old jokes from the RAG Mags!
I kindly invites you to make a donation of £5-£10 (adults) or £1-£2 (children over 5) for my two charities, Dingley’s Promise – Dingley’s Promise is passionate about giving every child with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) the best start in life https://dingley.org.uk/. and Green Health Thames Valley – a small charity that provides support with mental health challenges through a tailored programme of horticulture-based activities, with a focus on intensive support. https://greenhealththamesvalley.org.uk/
