Discovering their history\, the importance of both rivers & so much more! We follow the Thames Path walking East to Horseshoe Bridge (mouth of the Kennet) and come back into the center of Reading via the Towpath.  \nWe finish at a town centre pub! \nFun facts & lots of opportunity to ask questions. DESCRIPTION:NB Graham Turner who know the area very well will be joining us \n9 people booked in already – 09/05/26 \nWe will explore the history of Castle Hill\, Old and New Coley over 150 years. I Will show images of the area as it was. Do you know there a Whitbread pop-up Pub was & what about where the Coley steps? Illustrations will be used to explain the history and the changes to the area (from Mansions to courts)\, the lost industries\, people and some fascinating facts. \nThe tour will last approximately 2.15 hours\, with a few short inclines & descents. \nThe tour is close to Reading Town centre.
