DESCRIPTION:Hi All\, I’m conducting my first & still most popular Main Reading ‘Walkabout’ (Guided Walk)\, full of great History & Heritage & great stories! \n3 places gone already! \nNB PLEASE DON’T TURN UP BEFORE BOOKING IN BY BY CLICKING AS ‘GOING’ OR BY MESSAGING or RINGING ME ON 07505351517 and to receive more relevant information and if you have any questions\, or wish to book more than 1 place. \nPLEASE ARRIVE 10mins EARLY for signing in & my safety brief etc.\nAccompanied children & good dogs on leads are welcome. \nPlease bring a cash donation of £5 to £10 per adult and £1 per child over 5. Proceeds will be split equally between my causes for the year.\nProceeds from April 6th 2026 – April 5th 2027 – will go equally to 1st a main charity – Dingley’s Promise (DP) – They strive to provide the best start for every child.\nWe support children in the early years with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential.\nThis Year I’m for the 1st year ever\, I will be  doing a few Special DP Walkabouts based on there history etc. They were formed in Reading at Battle Hospital\, became a charity and are starting to spread around the country\, starting in the South with 12 Centre & their HQ is in Newbury. Members may start with one-to-one teaching\, and if comfortable\, may then graduate to small groups\, usually containing a maximum of 4 people. Our Therapeutic Horticulture Lead teaches horticulture skills at a pace that suits the individual. I have known Charlotte for several years and we have made all sorts of donations to them\, from gardening equipment to a wishing well when we downsized.
