The History of Reading Civic Society

The History of Reading Society are starting their 2024 in person meetings at the Abbey Baptist Church, Abbey Square, Reading RG1 3BE, at 7.30pm (doors open 7pm) on Wednesday 20th March, when, following a short AGM, Richard Bennett, Chairman of Reading Civic Society, will tell us all about ‘The History of Reading Civic Society’. Richard will tell us how the society was formed and about some of its campaigns and projects, including working with developers to build better for Reading’s future.
This meeting is open to members and visitors (visitors £2 each). No need to book, just turn up on the night.
